  6. Amanuel Madda Menna on November 8th, 2011 at 3:20 PM

My name is Amanuel Madda from Ethiopia.I was graduated from BahirDar Universityfrom the department of Biology on July 2, 2002. I served as a biology andchemistry teacher at different secondary and preparatory high schools ofgovernment for more than 8 years. Now I am serving as Town sanitationcoordinator in BoditiTown Municipality.I made So many correspondences with universities from Netherlands (ITC, Groningen,Wageningen, Utrecht); Norway(Bergen I University); and UK(Warwick University) to get scholarship opportunity.Fortunately I found Admission letter from ITC (International Institute ofGeo-information and Earth Observation) for the course Natural resourceManagement: specialization planning and coordinating NRM in 2004 and 2005. Forthis reason, according to advice of scheggetman(student recruitment, registration and selection officer) from ITC, I applied for NFP (Netherlands Fellowshipprogram) by going to Embassy of Netherlands in Addis Ababa. Again I applied for the JJ/WGSP(Joint Japan World Graduate Scholarship program) by fulfilling every criterionfor two years in both cases. But they announced me after the end of July ineach year by informing me that they could not give me priority for me becauseof severe computation from 52 developing countries from Africa and Latin America. At that time, they told me to re-apply forthe 3rd year but I become fed up of it because there was loss of time, money and other costs. Due to these reasons, I shifted my idea to search for theopportunity to study my M.Sc in Inland. In 2008, I could find Acceptance letterfrom Hawassa University for the course “Cropprotection” from the Department of plant science. By providing the acceptanceletter, I asked the Concerned Damot Pullassa Woreda’s government officials tocover the required costs for tuition fee, living costs and research fees butthey refused to do so. For your surprise, this woreda gave me the promise 3times and refused to do so because of political isolation since I was not partof their clan. Because of this and associated reasons I left their woreda in2009 by transformation of work. Still I am mistreated (suppressed) due topolitical isolation in the know working place.

To sum up my idea here, I can speak so many up and down that I have passed to get the opportunity but for the time limit, letme give up here.

Now I’m seeking to study masters Degree program in country of America,German, Europe, Japan or Denmark.

I would like to thank you the concerned body ahead of the grant you are going to give me.

  8. Greetings!
I am called Iutung Denis, I come from Northern part of Uganda. I graduated with Bachelor degree in Quantitative Economics in Gulu University, Gulu district. Due to shortage of finace my parents can no longer afford to pay me for masters programe in any institutions. My hope for Masters in Economics/ Statistics seems to be futile, I therefore extend my humble request to your University so as to consider me in the scholarship program.
    Thank you
